Draft Management Plan - Posted for Comment until Sept 15

As we move forward with solidifying our trail management partnership with the B.C. Recreation Sites and Trails Branch, we have produced the first draft of a Management Plan. The purpose of the Plan is to guide the management of mountain biking activities in three trail networks on Hudson Bay Mountain: The Bluff Recreation Site, the Ptarmigan Road Recreation Trails and the Piper Recreation Site. The Management Plan has been created based on direction included in the provincial government’s working draft policy called “Authorizing Recreational Mountain Bike Trails on Provincial Crown Land”.

This first version of our Management Plan will be posted for member (and other stakeholder) comment until Thursday, September 15th.
